The Meaning of Sivana
What's with the name?
Oddly enough, a lot of people ask us where the name Sivana comes from. The idea behind the name Sivana is fairly simple. While keeping our eyes peeled for a name for the company, our President and Executive Producer Quinn Corkal came across a chapter in a book called “Sages of Sivana”.
As he read on, he learned what Sivana was. It was a "heavenly" place on Earth. It had no monetary system and it had no greed. It was simply run by everyone contributing their part, and helping one another. Everyone did their own job and shared their wealth with everyone else. The farmer provided vegetables, the baker provided bread, and so on.
Now don’t get us wrong, we don’t think of ourselves as heavenly by any means. But we do try to live up to the meaning of our name in the best way that we can – and that is by keeping our pricing fair.
